Showflat status: what is and is not known

CDL has not announced a showflat location, opening date or preview date for Wynwood Grand EC. Any website that states a firm date or address is publishing an estimate or a placeholder. The late 2026 / early 2027 window used on this site comes from analyst and agent consensus and one EdgeProp report of CDL’s launch pipeline, which cited 1Q2027.

What can be said is how EC showflats normally open. A developer usually opens the showflat to the public at the same time as the e-application window, roughly two weeks before booking day. During those two weeks buyers view the show units, study the floor plans and the indicative price list, and submit an e-application. The showflat then stays open after booking day for buyers of the remaining units.

How viewing by appointment works

Viewing a new EC launch is done by appointment. A booked slot means a sales representative walks you through the show units, the scale model and the site plan, then sits down with you to go through eligibility, financing and the application timeline. Walk-ins are normally accepted during the public preview, but on peak weekends they can wait a long time.

  • Book a slot by phone or WhatsApp on +65 9062 5026, or through the form on this page.
  • A typical viewing takes 60 to 90 minutes including the financial walkthrough.
  • Bring everyone who will be on the application; the eligibility check covers the whole family nucleus.
  • There is no fee for viewing, and an appointment does not commit you to applying.

Because the showflat has not opened, appointments made now are placed on a priority list. When CDL confirms the opening date, we contact registrants first to fix a viewing time before the general walk-in queue forms.

What to bring to the showflat

Bring the documents below so that the eligibility and loan checks can be done on the spot. If you are only browsing, your NRIC is enough; the rest matters once you intend to e-apply.

From e-application to booking day

Wynwood Grand EC falls under the old EC rules because its tender closed on 5 August 2025, before the 8 May 2026 policy change. That shapes the launch sequence: 70% of units are set aside for first-timers and 30% for second-timers at launch, and second-timers may book from one month after launch.

  1. 1

    E-application opens

Usually about two weeks before booking day, coinciding with the showflat opening. You view, indicate preferred unit types and submit an application together with a cheque for the booking fee, which is only used if you book.

  2. 2

    Eligibility screening

The developer checks citizenship, the S$16,000 monthly income ceiling that applies to this project, and property ownership against HDB’s EC criteria. Applications that do not qualify are returned.

  3. 3

    Ballot

If applications exceed units, a ballot decides the order of unit selection. First-timers draw from the 70% share; a separate 30% is reserved for second-timers under the old rules.

  4. 4

    Booking day

In ballot order, you select a unit from the balance-units chart, pay the 5% booking fee and receive the Option to Purchase. The price list is fixed on this day.

  5. 5

    After booking

You exercise the Option with your lawyer within the option period, and HDB’s approval of the application follows. Second-timers who did not secure a unit may book from one month after launch.

The steps above follow the standard EC launch format. CDL will confirm the exact timetable at preview; nothing is confirmed until then.

What registering interest gets you

Registering interest with our team does not commit you to anything and does not place you in a queue with the developer, because developers only accept e-applications once the showflat opens. It puts you on our list for three things: the confirmed showflat and preview dates the moment CDL releases them, the e-brochure and indicative price list when they are available, and a priority viewing slot ahead of the public walk-in period.

The showflat location has not been announced by CDL. Developers usually set up EC showflats on or near the site. We will publish the address once it is confirmed; register to be notified.

Expected late 2026 / early 2027, to be confirmed by CDL. EC showflats typically open together with the e-application window, about two weeks before booking day.

An appointment is strongly recommended, and any viewing before the public opening is by appointment only. Walk-ins are usually accepted during the public preview but may wait at peak times.

Yes, anyone can view; only eligible applicants can submit an e-application. For Wynwood Grand that means at least one Singapore Citizen in a family nucleus, combined gross household income of S$16,000 or less per month, and no private property owned or disposed of in the past 30 months. Verify with HDB.

5% of the purchase price, paid on booking day when the Option to Purchase is issued. The cheque submitted at e-application is only used if you are allotted and book a unit. Confirm the exact mechanics with the sales office at preview.

No. This is an independent page run by a Huttons Asia sales team. Jeffery Ng (CEA R050136D) markets the project as a salesperson; all project details remain subject to the developer’s confirmation.
